Blazer System Build.
Heres some of the pics of my progress of getting my system into my blazer. I have been working on this with my neighbour, he does most of the cutting/measuring/ideas and will be doing the vinyling. I've done pretty much everything else.
The system Conists of: -Pioneer DEH-P750MP Source -5 1/4" Infinity Refrence components -5 1/4" Infinity Refrence coaxils -Rockford 600.4 Amp -Pioneer 760w amp -JL 12 w3v2 -Q Logic kicks Heres a shot of most of my stuff. http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...components.jpg Installed the deck a few weeks ago becase the radio was pissing me off. http://www.havokproductions.ca/blazer/system/deck.jpg Finished the box and got it ready for sanding http://www.havokproductions.ca/blazer/system/box1.jpg http://www.havokproductions.ca/blazer/system/box2.jpg http://www.havokproductions.ca/blazer/system/box3.jpg http://www.havokproductions.ca/blazer/system/box4.jpg Weird looking box for a reason http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...oxandfloor.jpg Got all my wires ran: http://www.havokproductions.ca/blazer/system/wires.jpg Then it got cold so I turned to some stuff for the inside. |
Rear speakers mounted behind factory grills
http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...rspeakers1.jpg http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...rspeakers2.jpg Then I turned on the boring generic "clutter catcher" center console that came in the truck. http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...terconsole.jpg The idea http://www.havokproductions.ca/blazer/system/idea.jpg Started on said idea http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...solerough1.jpg http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...solerough2.jpg I have got a bunch of sanding left to do obviously, but I will post more pics as I get farther along. Cheers. |
Bad Ass!

spray bed liner in and out side of box to seal it some more, and you can do the floor part too.....it looks ok man......cheers.......
silicone the inside of the box if u dont spray bed liner....
I will probably silicone the inside of the box, the outside and floor are all going to be vinyl. More pics later this week.
My neighbour dropped off the amp rack we collaborated on. Its something different.
Stainless. The amps will mount to the false floor and this will cover them. 2 quick pics of it. I will take a few shots next week of it in the truck. I also did some sanding but no pics of that cause that shits boring.. I gotta buy a sander.. Theres a protective cover over the stainless, which I am going to cut a stencil into to cut some stuff. http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...rackclosed.jpg Opened, amps, fan, dist block http://www.havokproductions.ca/blaze...mprackopen.jpg |
that should be one sick blazer*th-up*
I thought your blazer got stolen??
Did, I got it back, monkied some insurance stuff around and got some things fixed because of it.
looks pretty good. i like the box built over the tire hump. ive seen that done in a 4runner, only i think they built the boxes ported. was 2 jl 10w3's - sounded awesome. id put a plexi cover over the crossovers, just so you dont drop stuff on them and maybe short out your amp. maybe youve already thought of this, but still. i like the idea of the exposed crossovers though. im gonna try to do that in my next system build
isn't that the old sub out of yoru E30?
Ya I think i am going to cover the cross overs with something, not sure what yet.
Yes it's the same sub deck and rear speakers out of the e30. I still don't know what I want to do with that car. In an ideal world the blazer would tow the e30 around.. |
Good job mang. One day when I am ready to get a system installed, Im gonna contact you!
^^Looking good man!, just make sure it doesnt get stolen again!
