e46 330 DRL Relay

Where is the relay located?

Gamite 01-31-2007 12:05 AM

you trying to disable it? I think on E46 is programmed at the dealer.

StikiGreenZ 01-31-2007 11:48 AM

I've read that there's a relay in the drivers side footwell?
I'm trying to disable them.... I heard no dealer in Ontario will do it.

Gamite 01-31-2007 11:55 AM

try parkview or BMW Toronto. They might make you sign a waiver. I got my X5 DRL's disabled.

StikiGreenZ 02-01-2007 10:11 AM

Parkview wants $172.50 to reprogram the DRL?!!??!

^^ It all comes down to how much you really want your DRLs disabled. :D

I'd pay that much to have my DRLs disabled. You have it lucky, my whole car has to be re-wired.

try cross ave. in oakville they have the computer too.

StikiGreenZ 02-01-2007 01:05 PM

I unplugged the high beam bulbs, but I miss being able to flash slower traffic :D

And the two warning lights on the dash aren't too attractive *thmbsdwn*

Is that computer only available at a dealership? I heard its a relay and not a reprogramming thing?

Relays are for 96-99 e36's.

e46s are computer programmed i believe.
