Looks good, but please mount the plate in it's proper location. Half-ass hanging front plate throws the look of the car off.

Tough to properly mount the plates on FG bumpers!

Cars coming along pretty good!

$500bimmer 10-10-2006 12:56 AM

off ebay for $90 doesnt fit right tho, it was a guy from max thats how i found out about this site

Soldo 10-10-2006 01:17 AM

Ya, its tough to get the FG bumpers to ever fit nice... i know from experience!

Thats why i learned the second time around, OEM is the only way!

$500bimmer 10-10-2006 01:19 AM

phils are good i dont intend on keeping the car so its not that critical to me

Axxe 10-10-2006 04:06 AM

What's so hard abotu mounting a plate? Self tapping screw, and glue some aluminum flat bar behing the moutning surface if the FG is too thin to bite into.

Sorry man, I hope I'm not coming off as an asshole, but nothing says butcher, hack job, etc than a license plate dangling in a non-stock location, it just completely destroys the car for me for some reason. If you're happy with it, have fun and run with it. That's the most important part *th-up*

agreed. what bothers me the most about fiberglass is that the paint never gives the same reflection as the rest of the car, especially noticable in dark colored cars.

but the car looks good... do as Axxe said, self taping screws and a bar on the back of the plate to mount it properly. *th-up*
