Noob, here is my 540i6 and my old e36...
 

I am new here, nice site! I just bought a 98 bmw 540i 6 spd v8. So far it has PIAA lighting, Pioneer navigation, and Axis Penta 20x9/20x10 wheels(not on car yet) Many more mods to come! I recently totaled my Procharged 02 mustng gt so I decided to slow down a bit from 460 hp and get into a 540i6! I am also including pics of my e36 I had before my mustang...

nice cars, the mirrors on the e36 were awful. Should've posted some pics of the stang.

i got good news for you though. a 540 i6 isnt' a step down from a stang:D

LOL, you didn't like the ACS sport mirrors on the e36? Those were $799! Luckily they were on the car when I bought it! I'll go ahead and post some pics up on the GT...I didn't mean that it was a step down in quality(actually a huge increase in quality), but I meant a slight drop in horsepower..460 down to 286? I love it though I missed my e36 from the day I sold it...

true, its less power (a lot less power) although if you do the same kind of mods to the e39 it'll be quick. but horsepower isn't everything.

I loved those mirrors, the whole car had the ACS kit, wing, mirrors, woodgrain, exhaust, suspension, etc when I got it. Probably a few grand for the package...

For 2 legs and 1 1/2 arms you could put a supercharger on the 540
