blaupunkt speakers
 

The porsche came stock with blaupunkt speakers, but they are in pretty bad shape now after 20 years. I need to get blaupunkt again because most speakers are too deep for the 944 door panel, and they have their "thin line" speakers now that should fit. There is only one registered dealer in ontario and it is up north somewhere. Does anyone know where I can get Blaupunkt speakers in the GTA?

the speackers in your car are 4x6 front & back.....look for a plate set up or a 4" coax system....POLKs are good in both typs of speakers....

explain.... don't know a lot about car audio, what is a "plate set up or a 4" coax system"

A plate is a 3" mid and 1" tweeter in a plate,and a coax is a mid with 1" teeter builded in it.....

u can get the infinity speakers, they have a special line of speakers thats shallow

so do focal... as im sure many companies do. You're not limited to blaupunkt (which is a good thing, imo)

Polk/MOMO make a good plate for the money.

if you have the money, go for focal.

yes if you can afford it go with the speker companys above but if you want blaupunkt spekers there is a place in stoney creek (like 45min from T.O.) i forget the name but i can get it if you want, pm me. they will give you a good deal and the owner is a good guy, he will help you out. but again if you can aford it go with a different company.
