there is no way he passed an M6 with just 235 HP...it was a strait either he had a lot more HP than 235 or the M6 guy wasnt even trying

actually its very possible. elise is a track machine and m6 apparently is not. Also think about the hp to weight ratio.

did he pass the elise on the straight? or at the corner?
i didnt see the m6. if he did pass the m6 on the straight, I dont know how that might happen. m6 is like what 500 hp?

Bavaria 05-22-2006 09:44 PM

exactly my point.... it was in a strait... yes think of the hp to weight ration, the M6 has too much HP to be owned by a 235HP.
they came out of a corner and the lotus just kept on going... maybe it wasnt an M6, mayes it was just a 6 series....
yea the M6 is 505 HP

JMW 05-22-2006 10:52 PM

thats crazyy fast

Robb 05-23-2006 12:08 AM

M6 is a pig even with 500 hp.*thmbsdwn*

Axxe 05-23-2006 12:23 AM

They came out of a corner, elise was carrying eleventy million times more speed.

**** E30 M3's for track, Elise is the way to go.

Guys, its very simple

Elise - 235hp - 2000lbs
M6 500hp - 4000lbs

power to weight ratio is pretty even. Being a lighter car it can take corner much faster.

Justin e36 05-23-2006 03:41 PM

Looks like Sickfinga is the only one that understands this.

There aren't too many Elise's that were built without interior vents... I think they were all in 2004. This very well could be an Exige instead. It's difficult to tell because he changed the steering wheel... but only the Exige came with a quick remove steering wheel afaik. Hmm.
