finally died and called local steeler and was quoted $273.00 + tax CAD.

Went to Sam's Club and picked up an interstate MTP-93 for $92.00 + tax and went to interstate dealer to pickup Vent kit.

Lots of talk about the said VENT KIT required on the interstate batteries but few pictures, so I thought I would post a pic.

The vent kit is required on the Interstate battery since the vent is on the side verses on the top (near "+" terminal) on the stock battery.
BTW, also saved about 14 lbs in weight vs the stock battery (interstate just over 30lbs vs 40+lbs on oem)

2 year exchange warranty on the interstate vs 1 year on the oem.

Spent the rest of the money on premium brew and angus steak for this weekend with some friends
