Stolen Vehicle - Keep an eye out for...
If you have anti-honda comments, please keep them to yourself this time. Asking for some assistance from members here.

Fire-engine red 2000 Honda Civic SiR. Stolen from Wilson subway station. This car had multiple alarms, separate fuel, and engine kill switches... as well as a whole bunch of other security. Even if they got past all that, it would not have been drivable for more than a few meters before the engine would cut out. It was likely towed away. Possibly towed to a nearby area for a few days to clear sattelite tracking. So keep an eye out for the next few days before she is chopped up. Wilson subway / Yorkdale area.

P.S. There are only 4 fire-engine red Civic SiR's in Toronto, so if you see one let me know ASAP. If you can get up close it is easily identifable by the black (not gray) and red interior.

Sorry about your buddy's loss, but GOOOOOD LUCK man!

You know as well as i do that its a honda, and on top of all that a Sir, i really hope he finds it, but its highly unlikely. That car is already in a million pieces, and the engines been ripped out already! I know this cause i used to know guys that were into these things and when a car like this gets stollen theres such a high demand for these motors this thing gets taken apart within hours!!

Looked like a hot car, my buddy has a turbo red Sir (its from the states so its a Si technically) and he locks that thing up in a garage and takes his other car if his gonna be parking somewhere else.

Again, i'll always keep an eye out, and i really hope your buddy does get it back in one piece!

Sorry to hear will keep my eyes out for it up here. Post those on all the other boards like TCC, TI, TSR, etc etc. Make it hard for the thieves to sell the parts publicly.

why would someone spend so much money on security for a honda?

sorry but was there something special about it?

why would someone spend so much money on a custom stereo on an old ass, high km pickup truck? answer: because the personal value of one's posessions is beyond what can be seen in the public's eye.

Primus 02-16-2006 09:15 PM

my trucks not old ass!

and i didnt mean it like that, i was wondering why someone would have so much protection for what appears to be just a regular civic

Haegl 02-16-2006 09:24 PM

damn man.. that sucks.. I had a theift attempt on my teg last week I know how u feel. I caught the bastards in the middle of trying to steal it, but they drove away before I could get their plates.

I'll keep an eye out for that one, hope you find her

Bimmer Heaven 02-16-2006 11:55 PM

Good luck, i hope they find the shell and who did it, because most likely that car is in pieces by now. If they were good enaugh to bypass all that security, then they are not simple joyriders and they know what they are doing...

paul christians 02-17-2006 12:11 AM

that car is gone man, but luck on finding it one piase man...sorry about his car too......

Good luck. A friend of mine lost his 7th gen a month or so ago. He didn't care though, it was stock, and sucked. SiR's are definately nice though.
