Just currious, how much work is required in mountin the M3 muffler on to an e46 sedan?

i was wondering that too..it shouldn't be much more then the cutting bumper and making it fit...i would think it's direct bolt otherwise...i was wondering if the headers would fit well both really

it's more than that for sure...you'd need to remove your spare tire crap in the back to make room for the exhausts.

yup, u need to cut out the spare tire compartment. i wonder if m3 headers would make a performance difference on a regular 3 series, would they even fit?

I dont think so. Not sure though, but I would have to lean towards no.

They are just taking up space.

M3's had issues with cats going bad (cat's are part of e46 M3 headers) and so if you have an M3 and yours go bad (out of warranty) its a good replacement source.

I have a set as well but I'm keeping them to do emissions.
