revshot i like your stang the way it is. I don't know about that hood scoop. It looks a little like over kill imo. But if you like it then its all good. it's ride after all. hopefully someone can put it on your car too see what it looks like. I hear that your car is running pretty good times on the track. congrats and good luck with you project.

its not exactly that size that scoop is the 9" version the one i bought is shorter and 7" high

dont'do it, It will be a pain in the ass to drive around with that thing on your hood

meh, with my new motor i need about 5" of clearance overtop of the stock hood

If you need the room, do it. Just don't do it for looks.

a 6" cowl hood could sufice but there too common

yeah but the cowl hood looks nicer imo. I think that scoop is just to obtruse

yes function is key, if we are going all function do it. I've just never been a fan of those mofos. They take away from the view and i dotn'like that
