i was reading an article on an internal magazine that i get at work, it was about the stats of car thefts in Ontario malls

Yorkdale has an average of 10 cars stolen from there everyday!! 10 cars!!

second on the list was pacific mall with 6 cars stolen everyday


just 3 days ago my brothers friend's civic was stolen from Yorkdale

be careful with your bimmers guys!!

yeah, few years ago my moms friend lexus was stolen too, and by the time she finished her shoping it was probably in USA or for sale as parts lol

I was there today at Yorkdale...

dont we have some good anti theft protection?

I was there once.......saw a car on milk crates.. wheels jacked.. just plain CRAZY.....

always park near Valet or near all the main entrance. You're asking for trouble if you park really far away.

I was in my car parked at shoppers *grocery store* and I was waiting for my mom and I see like 3 thuggish kids walking around the parking lot and I see them look into the car's trunk *suv tinted windows* next to me and I just wanted to run them over so badly.

my brother's E46 M3 was stolen from Yorkdale. He went into Indigo to get a magazine and came back 10 minutes later, the car was gone.
The car was never found.......

HOLY FAWK...maybe i should take my parents lexus there on a hot summer day....just camp out a few cars back with my buddies and "address" whoever wants to touch :)

that should fill in those times during the summer when theres "nothing" to do :D

you are so right! they dont care! yorkdale has cameras in the parking lot but they dont cover the entire parking lot and if your car is stolen and you go to security, they won't do jack shit!

Do you mind sharing what "internal magazine" gave these stats...10car/day is a lot of cars.

There are less than 12000 theft/year in Toronto, I can't see Yorkdale making up 30% of all car thefts in Toronto.
