I recently changed my microfilter. I bought mine from the $tealer, and just found out Canadian Tire has the exact same one for less, for e36 application $25 versus $38 from BMW. They are BOTH manufactured by a company called Micron Air, I checked the tab on the one I bought from BMW and then I recently saw a poster at the CDN Tire parts counter. Just a heads up ! *th-up*

It was pretty easy. Removed the Glove box, kick panel, passenger vent, electrical distribution bracket, twist knob counter clockwise, and pull old filter out.

I didn't see the one from Canadian Tire, but like I mentioned Micron Air was stamped on the OEM one. The only difference I could think of is the packaging.
