How much? I live relatively close, and I have been looking for an exhaust for the 540.

don't know what he is going to charge, but my Brullen Cat-Back system(resonator & muffler with bigger piping) cost about $1300 after taxes, I also got larger cats for another $350 after taxes, I would really recommand replacing the stock exhaust system because the stock resonator is a huge restriction plus a lot of weight

It is used - but it got 3-4 thousand Km on it. It is practicaly new I bought it two month ago. I paid 1200+ including, taxes and shiping. + I have a straight pipe welded on to replace resonators.
I would let it all go for 800.

After I installed it - I never got to lift it up as I think it would look better if the bumper is cut and the assembly is moved up.

If you are interested - we can meet up and you can listen to how absolutely amazing it sounds. and what it looks like.

Sorry, I just wasted all my cash money on an AFE intake, HRE's, brake pads, and a titanium exhaust for the M3. Would have, but the M gets the toys now.

If the 540i wasn't my winter beater, I'd jump on this! I guess everyone is broke.

Any feasibility of it fitting correctly on an 95 540i6? If it could be proven that she could fit properly without any modification, I'd be very interested. I'm not too well versed in the undercarriage of the E39...

To tell the truth - I do not know.
has to be researched. I doubt that it can be a clean fit.
I am pretty sure that one can fit SS made for e39 into e34 body but pipe modifications most likely would be required. The straight pipe bends arround the suspension parts near the muffler. It might be a 100 some dollar job to fit it. The guy who installed mine should make a quick assessment of the fisibility and costs involved :)
