Mountain Biking?
 

Anyone interested in hitting some trails in Northern Ontario? ... So far its just me and Mario... Lets see how many ppl would be willing to go!

we're planning to go to some place called 'hardwood hills' its just under 2 hours north of Toronto... originally we thought of going to Gogama ontario... but we'll do that in August.

I'll keep things updated... lemme know :)...

P.S... if anyone doesn't have a bike... they rent them there for a pretty good price.. like $20 daily or something.

Also... unfortunately CCM/Raleigh/SuperCycle etc bikes won't cut it... you can try,,, but you'lll regret it.:S

aha Hardwood Hills has so many different tracks from beginner to radical where you have to ride over rocks and logs..really cool stuff. Went there a few years ago when I got my StumpJumper FS and it was incredible riding. You guys will have a great time there. I believe its near hwy 11 or something, its been a while.

When are you guys planning on going? Hardwood Hills is a nice venue, but unfortunately it´s not ´Northern Ontario` like you say, 15 minutes past Barrie is still southern ontario.

yeah, we were planning on going to some place called 'gogama'... its about 8 hours north... but that will come later at the end of August.In the next 2 weeks we're headed up there... will post exact date in the day or two. Its hard to find a date where everyones off work,

Most likely either July 16,17,18 of not... 30,31,01... staying for just one day, (its not that far)


+ i'm still a beginner... just getting into it. Used to have a Trek bike... and had a fun time with Macieks Carbon-Fibre Gary Fisher....

but made my first investment into another TREK last week... posting pics in photo section...

Either on 30th(july)or 1st (august) ... will figure it all out in the next day or two... have to make sure.... if anyone has anything planned and really wants to go, post it here... and we'll try to figure something else out.

Full day mountain bike rental $33.00 + helmet $7.00 = $40
+ Admission = $12.00

basically...

If you have a bike+helmet = $12 for the day

If you have to rent both = $52 for the day

if a lot of people r goin i might be down 2 go 4 the day :)
