nice pics, awsome camera as well... I kinda wished I waited longer to get the D70 instead of the 300D, but I like Canon lenses better so that justifies my choice hehe. The colors are very vibrant and came out really clear too. Is that the lense that came with the D70 or did you just get the body and have a different lense?

Thanks!

I already had a bunch of Nikon lenses. Nothing like the best glass:)

The lens that came with it is a 18-70mm f3.5 and is very sharp. I still have to experiment with the settings but, I Like it alot.

What sold me on this camera vs Canons besides the fact I already had lenses, was info from kenrockwell at http://www.kenrockwell.com

I'm gona try a few tricks to increase the smoothness of the pics.

From what I've been reading you can over expose the pic say to 1.0 in raw format then bring it in to say Pshop and reduce the exposure to -1.0. This is supposed to decrease the ISO from 200 to 100. Doing the same with a over exposure of 2.0 and then decreasing with -2.0 should achieve a ISO 50. I'll try some tests to verify.
