Father is going to put in a nice system he doesnt want 2 cut any holes etc but then we came across probs for M sport steering wheel he doesnt want 2 lose steering wheel controls any ideas on how 2 do this?
|
If he is changing the stereo system to something else, chances are he will lose the steering inputs. I do not know of any aftermarket system that will retain factory steering radio inputs.

You should be able to add subs to your stock amp, and you can always change your speakers to higher quality, sure it won't be as nice as a fully custom system, but it would be a compromise to losing steering controls.

Improving audio
Have you considered using stock system with
Infinity Basslink Subwoofer..? Many have setteled with this as an optional upgrade from stock "tinny" sound.. |
i see thanks for the help there is modules available for steering wheel controls I was talkin wit a buddy at car audio he should have details on these modules etc 2day with price how does type-r 12" with all alpine speakers..in stock locations..
and also there is no stock amp i believe in 03 5 series..atleast thats what buddy said when he was on his comp..:D |
there is an adaptor you can buy that will enable you to use the bottons on the wheel, my friend has a 540 with a Alpine CDA-7893 and it works great.
