Does any of you guys have experienced them? Anything to say for or against it?

heard some bad rep about tokico's ppl have had nighmres with em........put your money to Koni's or Bilsteins fer sure, even though the bil's are an arm & a leg but COMPLETELY worth the loot!

thanks guys for not letting me buy this crap :D *th-up*
anyway the freakin seller never answered to my emails!?!

BMW_M52_M20 : yes they are on ebay :)

What springs are you matching them with? Koni's are stiffer than Bilsteins even on full soft, better for really low and/or stiff springs. Bilsteins will be more comfortable though.

True the Koni Yellows are on my Rear....

probably some bavauto lowering springs or eibach pro kit. Depends on when i'm going to loose parts of the suspension and what amount of cash I'll have then*shiner*

would you suggest a place for me to buy Koni's from?

tuNED318 03-19-2004 06:37 AM

ok disregard my last post because I bought H&R sport springs:cool: they will lower the front and rear of 1.25"

Now I'd like to know which shocks will be the best match for these springs. I'd like to have a comfortable yet stiffer ride and also have better handling . For around 600$-800$cad what would you suggest me?

Sorry, I dont know shit in suspension:D

How about KYB AGX's that are adjustable with 3 settings (soft-medium-hard)

Spaz 03-19-2004 06:53 AM

well if you have a lordco in your area and you have a hook up thur them you can get the eibach adjustable kit for around 700cdn...i was looking into that but i don;t have the funds right now.

good luck.

If your car is or is going to be lowered then don't go with the Tokico blue shocks. Either go with the Tokico Illumina adjustables (white), Koni Yellow, or Bilstien Sport.

I still have the Tokico blue struts in my car but the rear shocks blew within six months so I replaced them with the Bilstien sports.

Good choice! The Bilstein Sports are a popular choice, but what I really like about the Koni SAs are the adjustability they allow. As the shocks wear, you can turn them up to compensate.

Konis are relatively cheap at www.tirerack.com and www.shox.com

bmwm5lover 03-19-2004 04:33 PM

what would u say is better, eibach springs, or B&G.
Im thinking of going for the B&g, good price, and on my car they will be for show anyways....
1.6" drop all around,

Rally318ti 03-19-2004 07:29 PM

I will tell you know the B&G are unbelievable! The ride is stiffer city but hwy feels like stock! Amazing worth every lil cent!
