Rear disk brakes !

My car only has front disk brakes and drums on the back. So, I was wondering wether it is possible to fit disks on the rear? Is it an easy swap or do I have to put a different axle on the car? How do I do it?

In our market only the M10 318's had the drums.

The car is one that was sold in the U.K so may be it is different.

a friend of mines south african 320 has stock rear drums...apparently rear discs bolt straight on but they have a different rear trailing arm.....try picking some up from a wrecked e30 with rear discs...its not too hard a job...just a long one

o o i know this one!your gonna have too change the whole arm at the back the one on your car will only accept the drums the diff and axles can stay, this would also be a good time to replace all the trailing arm bushings...

yeah.....i just replaced my trailing arm bushings and subframe bushes with urethane ones from www.powerflex.co.uk ....feels good....its almost like you can steer with the rear of the car by pushing it harder into corners....:D
