I have noticed alot of cars in Europe have really wide wheels and narrow tires so the sidewall curves around the fenders. So i'm curious is this it?

yeah that's it!
is it so the tire doesn't rub?

i wish i could get wheels like that
i love that look

Peronally I've never been a huge fan of that look. It makes the wheel stick out too much. When you have the flush look with nice wheels and low profile tires, that's the tight look. Nothing against the Euro, but I don't dig on too much...:P

I feel the same was as Prince does on this one, it just looks like you bought a rim too big for your tire IMO. But the choice is always up to the owner of the driver.

Its easier to bend a rim that way too
