jeremy 01-31-2004 02:24 PM

i have them.....they dress up the interior... but they do get slipery when wet..

djcontra 01-31-2004 02:53 PM

I wouldn't mind making some of those. What do you need to cut metal like that?

Jase 01-31-2004 03:08 PM

the pro's use a plasma cutter. I would say a dremel would be enough. You can buy that aluminum by the sheet. you just have to trim it like the pics have it or sand the edge to lose the sharpness.

djcontra 01-31-2004 04:06 PM

Well I guess that's out of the question heh.
I dont have access to a plasma cutter unforunately; I was figuring I could use a band saw or something. A dremel would take forever, and the edges would turn out pretty rough. Oh well, I'm just too afraid to buy some online because I see so many ''fake'' diamond plate rugs (they're rubber), I wouldn't want to get ripped off.
