328is HELP...

I just got a 328is from 96....
I want to put intake exhaust and stuff... can yall help... what kind sounds the best ... does anyone have a previous one they can sell?? do yall have any suggestions? I would like it to sound like the bimmers off of dandbmeet video... the yellow one and the black one with the checkered fender... Please help! |

ECIS ActiveAutowerke there is always just the simple K&N drop in which i have. or you build your own cone intake setup it's pretty simple and will cost you only $100Cdn Exhaust: both will be around $1000 or so SuperSprint or Active Autowerke Gen III Chip for a 328 is not even a chip. it's called software download cuz from the looks of it, yours is a OBDII and there you only have 2 options and nothing else Shark Injector (which i have) $350US + shipping and custom fee (around $800 cdn) or Dinan Software download around $800Cdn or so |

If 328is_Perf is saying he wants to buy an intake from ebay for $50 instead, I don't think he's gonna spend the $ to get AA stuff or the other stuff that you listed which is expensive and top of the line. He seems like he's looking for something more affordable.

like i said in 96 they switched from OBDI (On Boar Diagnostics) to OBDII. all the cars after 96 are OBDII . OBDI and II check you exhaust emissions and stuff like that.
so if ur buying a chip for it you know which one to get. but since it's a 96 it's hard to tell just by looking at it which one it is. there are 328s that are OBDI and there is some that are OBDII in OBDI there is an actual chip that u replace with a new one. in OBDII u do NOT replace any actual chips. u download the new program into the old chip. like in your computer. that's why it's called software download. and the only options there are the Shark Injector or Dinan Software download. and 328s have no LSD , like most of the regular 3 series they come with an open differential. the LSD is only standard on the ///M cars. but the ratio is 2.93 on the manual 328. dont know about an auto |
some 325 came with LSD..the M325 offer had it..as well as cars with sports pkg and without traction..somethin like that.

dude .... its never been hit ... i got it checked by the dealer... but it has undergone a mild flood.... hmm could that be it???? lol
as i said i had it checked and theres nothing wrong with it only the carpets were wet, which i took out and dried them.. the computers are not under the seats ... theres nothing under the seats just insulated cables... oh and i paid around 7,000 for it |
Well, at the very least that model inscription came off at some point. Whether it was theft, a collision, or just plain boredom, it happened.
