Spud Nation II

Spud plans... a nice cruise... details will be available on the first post and WILL NOT CHANGE.

Sneek peak: Next private cruise will be a long one... serious roads, serious distance. IT WILL TAKE ALL DAY!!! Tease is the key to a good get-together...

569/Dyno Road/Bancroft

If your car can't travel 10 hours then get CAA or BMW roadside assistance. This will be a cruise not a meet. Details to follow... stay tuned.

SpudNation II - Sadly eastenders the jump point for ALL MEMBERS WILL BE KK in sausage. West end still has the majority. As always looking for serious support for this meet (members/mods/Admin). Randy has the call for the date. Either before bimmercruise or after. We all need to attend bimmercruise. It's our pilgrimage... our history... our tradition. Support bimmercruise or have maX fade into obscurity. Bimmer cruise is the $$$Hit. The BEST... The MOST... it's SIC it's awesome. It's the RANDIEST/DAVIEST/KEVENISTest meet of our
time!

Attend bimmercruise 2003... Details for SpudNation II might be handed out at the Bimmercruise 2003. SpudNation will be THE CRUISE OF 2003.

See you at Bimmercruise 2003!

As a card carrying member of Spud Nation. Please put me down as a confirmed rider. And Spudboy, should you need any help with this one, please let me know. Used to live in Ottawa and go to school in Barrie, so I know the roads up there and some nice spots.

Let's make it on a Sunday!!!

Slowered318 08-18-2003 11:21 PM

Wont that be well into october? Since bimmercruize was pushed to sept 27/28... and i assume you wouldnt make it a week after.

Seems kinda late in the year to me, but thats just my opinion.

Koncise: You are correct sir! However, after bimmercruise last year I was completely juiced for meets and cruises. I joined maX and wanted to meet/cruise. Spud Nation II will in all likelyhood be right after Bimmercruise 03 (stay tuned... details can't be posted until FINALIZED). I was looking for meets and there weren't any until Autumncruise of 2002. Personally I wanted to cruise the next night! I'm of the opinion that there will be

1) many new members wanting to cruise.

2) many established members that I can GUILT into attending:D

3) many new and/or established members that will be drawn to the cruise. It will be (IMHO) very well planned and executed. I've really been impressed with the support of the maX members... They attended a meet during a NATIONAL EMERGENCY for God's sake. Some even lined up for gas knowing that the meet was well planned but, due to circumstances beyond my control... DOOMED from the get-go. It went so well I still can't believe it*th-up* Even the cops were ok with...

a) Expired plates

b) Obviously modified cars using "prescribe equipment" and/or "prescribed substances"

c) Us not paying for parking.

d) They were called because Dave rev'ed his motor!:D Talk about criminal behavoir... DAVE... BEHAAVE!

in short... It'll be a good cruise... promise.

ChrisTO 08-19-2003 03:38 AM

10 hour cruise...now that is the sh!t. bring it on! i can't wait to see what roads SpudBoy has cooking for us.

incidentally i found a sweet set of roads just north of Napanee on the weekend. Hwy 41 starts at 401 and goes north. i've never seen that many twisties on that long stretch of a road before. 2 hours of pure turns till the end of the road up in Pembroke.

SpudBoy 08-23-2003 08:54 PM
