e30 rims, definately puzzled

I had e30 convertible (92 325ic) and it had 16" CSA Concept Wheels on it (4x100). I didn't use any spacers for them and they seemed to work fine.

I am now trying to order the same wheels from BC and the sales dept tell me these will not fit on my 89 e30 325is. This is a piss off and I kinda like these rims (apperance wise) and asking to people who know this stuff to help before showeling out bigbucks.

What is (or is there any difference) between 325is and 325ic e30s in terms of wheel fitment?

Thanks in advance

More specs about the rim:

16x7
38mm offset

Thanks

38 mm offset will FOR SURE NOT FIT... the E30 is 4x100 and the max is a 28 mm offset in a 15" rim... you should look for a rim that is a 16x7 and a 25 or lower offset..

No, 33 on a 15" rim would be the max..well depends on the width 2
