FS: 1985 BMW 635CSi
I am selling my 1985 BMW 635CSI E24 5-speed manual with sunroof. It has 157,000 miles. I’ve put 6,700 miles on the car. It is originally from HAWAII, so it has never seen snow or salt. Both the exterior and interior are in great condition. This has served as a weekend car for me. I only drive it on nice days and it is in my heated garage in winter. The car comes with organized documented records and receipts. Since it arrived in Canada, this car has been maintained by Lakeside, TECHMAX, 2T's, who are BMW experts. I wanted the car to drive and sound like new, so I repaired everything mechanical the car needed. So far I've spent over $4,000 in general maintenance and $3,000 in upgrades.

To name a few repairs:
  • Suspension bushings
  • suspension joints
  • new shocks
  • new Bridgestone tires
  • O2 sensor
  • coolant temp control
  • idle control valve
  • starter and more

List of upgraded parts:
  • Bilstein B8 Sport Shocks from Germany
  • Lowering springs
  • 15mm rear spacers from Stance Factory
  • New Stebro Performance exhaust system ($1,100)
  • Used BavAuto headers
  • MotorWork Front and Rear Sway Bars

Vehicle options: M6 rear spoiler, 17" BBS Style 5 wheels, Alpine CD/MP3/iPod Aux Connect, MB Quartz speakers, 10" Kicker subwoofer, Alpine amp, M-tech One steering wheel M-tech shift knob.$_20.JPG$_20.JPG$_20.JPG$_20.JPG$_20.JPG$_20.JPG$_20.JPG$_20.JPG$_20.JPG$_20.JPG

I am asking $9,999.
I prefer e-mailed, ylwrice@hotmail
or Leave a voicemail with, (647) 388-6813

The car runs well, sounds great, and draws the best attention from appreciators. When I purchased the car, I ran a compression test on the motor and had everything checked it inside and out.

I have been in New York for work a lot recently for work and it looks like I will be here for the rest of the year. E-mail me or text me. I am due to return to Toronto on May 15th. No insulting offers please. Remember, it’s not a brand new car. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for looking. Cheers~

I also want to note a few cosmetic things on the car I wanted to take care of this year:

Need new bushings for the short shifter
Need a detailer to polish the chrome bumpers and trim due to a bit of oxidization.
Polish the lips on the wheels too.
The front lip was taken off for transportation into Canada and I didn't install it back on properly when it arrived. Need to take it to someone who knows how to put it back on.
Replace or repaint the lid on the airbox due to paint chip
Replace bristles in center console

The car also has a Dinan Chip.

Theres a mint euro spec e24 up for 7.5k....

Yours is nice too but unfortunately these things aren't worth much....there's even an nice m6 up for sale in Scarborough kijiji for 9k!...essentially for the same price as your csi

Maybe hang on to it for a few years when(if) they're value will go up ...maybe?

Wow, beauty but for an enthusiast with money, overpriced for broke maxbimmer members.

monsterwin 06-15-2014 04:07 AM

Price negotiable. Please note the new price does not include the exhaust or safety.

A/C is recharged and blows ice cold.

I have someone who's looking to buy one for a while. He's willing to spend 5 grand, if it comes to that, let me know.

monsterwin 06-15-2014 11:37 AM

It won't come to that. That's Honda Civic money! Haha Storage will only cost me $60 a month. To take a $3k hair cut, I'd rather pay 50 months worth of storage and drive it.

ProStreetDriver 06-16-2014 01:14 AM

Those are anodized aluminum bumpers, they won't polish up. Once they oxidize, they need to be stripped, polished and reanodized.
