2001 bmw m5

All maintenance from new, mostly at dealer with a bit done at Bimmersport.

I have over $40k in receipts since the car was new.

ALL E39 and E39 M5 issues addressed.

This includes:

Suspension - control arms, bushings, etc. (done)
Vanos (both banks replaced at dealer)
Hoses (all hoses that go bad were already done)
Cooling system (done)
Brakes (done)
Guibo/center bearing (done)

Car is carbon black/black with the aluminum trim. Options include, rear and side shades, PDC and folding rear seat.

As close to mint as a daily driven car can be. Winter driven, but sprayed yearly which means no rust (yes even the bottom of the doors/trunk are mint).

Interior is mint aside from very minor wear on driver outside bolster (I mean VERY minor).

Mods:

AA intakes and AA tune, H&R springs (originals included), Dice mediabridge (including bluetooth, XM radio and ipod/iphone integration), daytime running lights turned off, muffler delete (sounds amazing, original mufflers included, can be re-installed in 20 min)

Extras:

Replica 17" M5 wheels with brand new Hankook Evo Icept winter tires.

Car speaks for itself, need to see it and drive it. Not for sale until after the new year, unless you convince me otherwise.

Mileage is 207,xxx km. Burns no oil and does not leak anything. Inspections welcome and encouraged, but must be able to fit to my busy schedule.

This is not a beat up E39 M5 with needs, this is a turn key car that needs nothing and was always maintained by those that can afford it. You will not have to do any deferred maintenance on it. It took me a year of looking to find this car.

Asking $15k (Cert and e-tested)

More detailed pics to follow later.

wow this is a perfect example of an e39 M5. Looks like it was taken care of properly.
GLWS!

It is, seeing it in person and driving it, and getting it inspected will show it.

marek 12-11-2013 05:53 PM

Car really needs to be seen in person.

Carbon black is a great colour, photos don't capture it at all. Good luck with sale, would love to park this beside my CB E46, but I don't think that's wise right now.

Went through the invoices and also saw that the following were done.

Crankcase hoses, valve cover gaskets, MAF sensors (at BMW $1200!!), CPS', headlight adjusters, thermostat, filters and all fluids, etc, etc.....

You will not find a nicer or better E39 M5 for this $$$. There is ZERO deferred maintenance and no issues that need to be addressed.

All options work as intended. There are no dead pixels anywhere, no leaking mirror fluid, no broken sunshades, cup holders are working flawlessly, no delamination on the outside mirrors, no window regulator issues, nothing, nada.

Whoever buys this will be a VERY happy camper, just like I have been with it.

Only selling due to changing life circumstances, otherwise the car wouldn't be for sale.

No trades, just looking to sell outright.

The last sentence in OP's previous post clearly states:

"No trades. Just looking to sell outright."

Hello. I am very interested in your M5. I will be in Toronto on Saturday morning. Is it possible to see the car. Please let me know if I can contact you by phone tomorrow.
Thank You
Parth

I'd be very interested in viewing the car this weekend as well. Will send a PM. Thanks.

marek 12-13-2013 10:23 AM

I will be available Sun for those wishing to look at the car.

marek 12-15-2013 11:08 AM

For all those asking why I am selling? I'm moving down to California for work. My relocation does not include cars, and registering a Canadian car in Cali can be a pain.

I will be replacing it with another E39 M5 down there.

The Stig 12-17-2013 10:12 PM

I had a chance to see this car on the weekend. It is exceptional. Marek has a complete history on the car. There are no stories here. It's tight and runs like a top.

Unfortunately I'm no longer able to purchase this car but I wanted to give a ringing endorsement to Marek. He is a true enthusiast and has taken care of this M5.

I'm supremely disappointed to bow out of this, but good luck for a quick sale. The next owner will get an incredibly well sorted M5.

Cheers,

Cliff

Thanks Cliff, it was nice meeting you.

Lots of PM's and emails and no one bothering to come out. I know it's a bad time to sell, but the car is worth it.
