Insurance claim on used car

Guys I need some help here. I got a really good deal on a 2011 bmw 328xi with 15000 for 27 000. I checked the car proof today and it shows the car was in an accident early this year. It shows rear side was hit and the damage was 2500$. Question is would my warranty still cover suspension? , how can I make sure the car is in good condition, what type of inspection should I do to it

PPI, call a local indy shop like RMP
905 951 0002

if the repair work was done by a BMW approved shop it will not affect warranty. rmp PPI'ed my m3 for me a few weeks ago, was very glad they did.

$2500 on a new car like this is almost nothing! New bumper cover and paint will pretty much add up to that! But have it checked by a bodyshop. A mechanical inspection may NOT show up the body damage done! Just for example i've recently looked at a 2012 with fire damage to rear end, on closer look the body had accident repair done to it...and who knows, maybe that caused the fire!!!

Lol. Checking a Carproof after a purchase. Lol.

I didn't purchased the car yet. I ran car proof before making the payment that is why I was asking.

anyways I spoke to BMW , they did the repair and it was minor . Just a scratch on the fender and rear bumper . BMW fixed the car

Thanks

Its cheap for a reason or no no wait, youre just that lucky.

car has full warranty , and it has always been service at bmw.

Im not sure if I m that lucky but we bought my wifes enclave for 17 000 when everyone else was asking 23 000. Its been 2 years and the car has been perfect
As a matter of fact the mazda 3 I just sold was purchased for 11 000 when the dealer was asking for 17 000 and aside from minor repairs the first year ( around 800$) the car was solid for the next 4 years we owned it. And I was still able to sale it for 6000

I was also able to find honda civic for 3000 below average asking price and the car is still running with over 320 000 kms ( purchased the car with 140 000) and I havent actually spend money aside from oil changes in the past 2 years. The only thing that has been fixed on that car was the alternator , a bolt joint and battery and it is still on original clutch

The only bad deal I got so far was in my first car , a german car unfortunately , a 1995 jetta. I overpaid for it and I probably spent more than what I paid in repairs , to make matters worst I only got 500 bucks for that, but the car was nice when working . Thats the main reason why I lost hope for german cars, but I hope the BMW brings back my love for german cars

I m not good at at negotiating. I just come across good deals from people selling their cars privately.
