Back in a BMW!!! Finally.

Well its been a year and a half since i sold my sweet beast.

I tried to own something else and I must admit my little powerless Acura RSX was great on gas and very reliable and cheap to maintain.

But I just couldn't take it .. It just wasn't the same. Nothing comes close to owning a BMW. I can't afford to jump into a brand spankin new one, I've got a kid in college i'm still supporting for the next two years.. (Look out 2016!!!)
So in the meantime I picked up a nice little 325i that appears to be owned by somebody's granmother... Its already been tinted so now I'm on the lookout for some winter rims.

*wiggle* Just nice to be back :) *wiggle*

Welcome back! *wave*

Very well said; there might be more reliable and cheaper cars, but damn it is BMW ever addictive!!! Its just HARD to live with anything less...*th-up*

Driving my wife's Civic on and off the last few weeks made me love my bimmer even more! Welcome back! Btw - lots of good deals on rims from sponsors on the forum and elsewhere as well - pretty sure you can grab a good deal.

that rsx was likley faster than the 325i. lol

Unless it was a type S I doubt it

Vassago12 10-16-2013 06:17 PM

Welcome back!

Oh hell not... my RSX was so slow. That and it was so low I was scared to go fast and kill myself on a pothole.
Enjoying the german engineering right now... I sure did miss the way they drive.

And unless you "live your life a 1/4 mile at a time", or just never leave the racetrack, the more enjoyable day to day car is still ANY bmw....

I had the same dilemma when I had an Acura TL ,,,it was reliable , looked good, drove good......... but you always felt something missing . I sold it and bought an older E39 ;)

SiR 10-21-2013 04:19 PM

thats debatable. No need to get upset about it.

Eurostyle 10-21-2013 05:01 PM

Everything is debatable...I know people who take the bus and say they like it, and don't even need a car, so i guess we are the suckers stuck in our automobiles...

richie_s999 10-21-2013 06:47 PM

Was wonder what happened to you, last time I saw your old bmw was at the gas station on simcoe.

Glad to see your back in the game, and don't forget to get wheel locks!!

BellaSignora 10-22-2013 03:54 AM

Hey Richie! Yes long time! Moved to Toronto and am rarely in the Shwa anymore.

LOL.. I had wheel locks on those rims/tires that got jacked... two per wheel. Didn't stop them. I don't blame them they were some sweet 19's. Great tires too... Never did catch who did it. But I think before i put new shoes on this little beast I'll get an alarm system first.

Anyhow.. no mods for now. just enjoying being stock. Less stress.

Good to hear from you! Hope you are well.
