Cylinder Head Removal Question

Hi Guys...I know there are a few of you have removed your cylinder heads but is it normal for it to be so difficult to come off after all the bolts have been removed? I have everything disconnected including the 2 bolts below the Vanos and still this head does not want to budge. Is there something I am missing or is there a trick to it?

Cheers!

No Worries, I finally got it. Turns out one of the bolts below the chain guide/tensioner assembly was connecting the head to the block still. I thought I was able to leave that piece on as it was not part of the Pelican instructions.

Thanks. Back on track.

Edit: glad you got it removed!

We usually have a briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a few warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. For beginners group, Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the back straight, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by by signaling you to pass. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls.
