Friday evening lapping at Cayuga

I'm thinking of going this week. Any other E30 guys thinking of going?

BMe30 06-17-2013 11:20 AM

$$?

Bullet Ride 06-17-2013 11:23 AM

$90+HST at the track for 5pm to dusk, roughly 4 hours.

karmatose 06-17-2013 12:04 PM

If I wasn't lapping on Sunday I totally would. Maybe in a couple weeks?

Ill let you know thursday eve. Ill have to see where my funds are after paying for mortgage, baptismal cake for my daughter, church donation for baptism etc.

I think i could pull it off!

What time are you planning on getting there? If i leave at 4 i might get there before 6. I could leave a little earlier and make it down by 5 to make it worth going.

Bullet Ride 06-17-2013 02:06 PM

Probably around 3:30 so I can get there shortly before 5pm and start putting on my R888s.

Ryan1212 06-17-2013 06:06 PM

I'd possibly be down for some lapping.

qwerte 06-17-2013 07:30 PM

Who do you guys do the lapping with?

I think I am doing Sunday June 30th @ Cayuga with Touge.

Ryan1212 06-17-2013 09:30 PM

Steve can correct me but I'm pretty sure it's just an open lapping event done by Cayuga, not an actual event, they just open the track for lapping.

Bullet Ride 06-17-2013 09:47 PM

Ryan is correct. Every Wednesday and Friday evening from 5pm-dusk Cayuga opens the track up to the public.

I should be able to go, should do an oil change before but whatever, the m20 will survive.

karmatose 06-17-2013 10:11 PM

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go on the 5th.

Next available date for me if anyone else wants to go then. Not to steal Steve's thunder here on this one, but I just can't make it.

@$90+tax, I'd prefer doing a weekend day at DDT or TMP, seems like you'd get more track time for roughly the same money.

Sunday June 23rd @ Mosport DDT 12:30 pm - 5 pm for $99 prepaid or $130 day of.
http://www.tdott.me/2013/04/touge-mo...-schedule.html

They have TMP Days also.

ATTS also has some lapping days for only $75 prepaid.
Sunday August 4, 2013 8:00am - 5:00pm

There is also an ATTS day on July 7th at DDT, don't have the info up yet.

Then there is always Bimmercruise Autoslalom and lapping Aug. 25th.

I would agree with you that the ATTS prepaid is a better deal on the August 4th, but the other day at DDT is basically the same amount of driving (maybe 30 mins more) but for us coming from KW/Guelph, its approx. an extra 30-45 mins of driving each way, in which case the cost of the extra fuel wouldn't be as worth it. (my opinion, can't speak for others).

That's true, I keep forgetting some ppl aren't in the GTA, where both would be pretty much the same distance :D

I much prefer DDT, TMP is too flat...

I'm sure there are more TMP lapping days, i'll keep and eye out. But yea for some reason they aren't full days like I thought I remember seeing.
