My car wasn't on the road all winter. I think things might get more lively now that the driving season has arrived.

karmatose 04-22-2013 11:31 AM

I'm hoping to be on the road this weekend. If I can get my shit together, I'd be down for a coffee/cruise.

Camm 04-24-2013 02:13 PM

Cars and coffee is always fun. Count me in.

karmatose 04-27-2013 08:43 AM

Managed to get my car out and ready for the season yesterday. If anyone wants to meet up for coffee or go for a cruise, let me know.

I'll attend if you guys setup a meet

karmatose 04-29-2013 05:15 PM

Well, let's have a discussion regarding meetups.

I don't mind heading up some meets, but we tried this last year and it was more or less just Camm and I meeting up for coffee (which is cool, but some more involvement would be awesome). I mean, what works for ya'll? Locations, times, frequency of meetups?

I'm partial to a morning coffee, and some chat pretty much anywhere. Saturday or Sunday is usually best for me. Bi-weekly or monthly is preferable in my mind. Also open to setting up cruises or a BBQ if there's interest. Or heck, maybe hitting Grand Bend for a sundown session.

Let's hash some things out and make a plan.

redlineryder 04-29-2013 05:47 PM

I'm new to London so I can't comment on previous meets or suggest locations. If you guys aren't already on the facebook group BMW True North I suggest you join, lots of members and they organize groupbuys and meets.

Maybe setup a Sunday evening meet to see how the turn out looks, then look to plan cruises or racetrack events.

Did anyone here attend the airport event last year? I want to attend this year *th-up*

food 04-30-2013 10:20 AM

I didn't come out at all last year but am looking to this year.

I am open to wherever whenever. Weekend mornings I am usually sleeping though.

Grand Bend cruise is a good idea.

Might be able to talk Rene into hosting a BBQ/work day at his place as he is fairly close to London now.

firbster 05-03-2013 09:16 PM

I'm up for it, I'm new aswell . I'm already setting up a night at the drive-in on fri may 24 to see fast 6 at the mustang drive in, going to be a bunch of cars coming out if the weather holds out. But any night is better for me then sunday busy night for me getting kids ready for school and work next day...let me know where and when, I have another buddy with a 540 that will come out..

No one liked BMW's in London I assume ?
We have CRX monthly Meets in London at the Rona Summerside Plaza Parking Lot. :D
Next one is May 26. If you see any crx's tell em about it. :D

karmatose 05-04-2013 09:50 AM

All right! good to see some input.

How about a meet up next weekend on Sunday evening to come up with a plan over a pint somewhere? I'll leave location up to ya'll. Last year we tried doing meetups in the Masonville area but that didn't garner any attendance so I'm in for whatever.

food 05-07-2013 09:54 AM

If you guys want we can meet at my house on Sunday. There is a parking lot right off my back yard (West Lions Park) and I have a fridge for beer and a BBQ for meats. Assuming there isn't anything going on at the arena and the lot is full.
