Manual X5 available in Canada?

Hi all,

New member here. Was the 3.0 X5 manual ever available in Canada? I'm trying to fine one, with no luck. Plenty in the States.

Thanks,

Jeff

Yes they are, but hard to find...Seen one for sale on Kijiji just yesterday!

Actually you would probably have an easier time finding one in Canada.

Lots more cars in the US but % wise more manuals up here.

My cousin had a manual 3.0

But they make a better version, a manual Sports Package 325iT wagon

(I am bias, I have one :) )

The X3 is the biggest fail BMW had in a long time, if not ever! It's all based on E46 driveline in a much heavier car, so everything related tends to go bad very quick, diffs, transfer cases, shafts, axles...many many other bad designs, I would avoid it at all cost, unless it's new and under warranty!

You are lucky!!! Lets just say for every 1 part call i get for an E46 Xi, i get about 5 for the X3, (that is driveline related, diff's, Tcases, driveshafts).
And this is not even considering how hard they are to work on, both my mechanics hate working on them! Panoramic sunroofs are also a BIG fail, almost as bad as X5's, but it does outnumber them about 2 to 1...
