Fs: 1998 bmw e36 m3

1998 BMW M3

This is a very clean low mileage example of a 1998 E36 M3.

Mileage is 117,100kms

This M3 is Alpine White, Alcantara/suede interior.

A top of the line paging alarm system was installed with a Alpine radio. Original radio will be included in the sale.

It is mechanically perfect as it has always been serviced/maintained with no expense spared. If the car had even the smallest issue it was replaced with new dealer parts.

The tires are new, and this M3 will need nothing to certify and etest. The car is ready to be enjoyed as it has been professionally waxed and detailed.

Bought this car 5yrs ago with 84,000kms from a mature professional. I do not drive my cars much as my business takes priority of my time. I am a BMW enthusiast and this is my second E36 M3. I spent a long time to find this clean, low mileage M3. I looked at many that were abused, not well maintained, or neglected. This M3 shares the garage with another low mileage toy BMW, as my daily driver M5 spends its time outside. I would like to sell this to make room for something I have my eye on.

I am offering this clean, low mileage, fine example of an e36 M3 at $12,900

Offers will only be entertained in person.

Is this that "individual" M3 that was being sold on Kijiji for $17K?

Crustashio 03-15-2013 03:19 PM

It was listed last year for around 14kish...I responded to the ad on kijiji once or twice but never heard back. Ended up buying one in NB but I really would have killed for that interior. Very rare for an NA spec car if it's original.

great price.
is that mcloth interior I barely see ?

Yes. I believe that was 2 years ago. Can't remember.

I forgot to state in the ad that this M3 is an "individual". Special order options, which was ordered/owned by a Waterloo BMW big wig(1st owner). I can't go back to edit my orginal post.

Sorry i missed your email. So many replied were spam, scammers, or people offering 1 time only $5,000 CASH offers. :D

The interior is original, and from what i understand it is the only factory equipped M3 with this interior in North America/outside of Europe.

Thanks,

It is. I couldn't find pics of it on this computer last night when i put up the ad.

I will get some interior shots tomorrow. Anything in particular you guys want to see?

Nope no chance, I know of at least two locally and I'm sure many more in the US.

It is rare, just no where near to being the only one.

Thats what I was told, and I haven't seen any others. I'll get some pics up, and then you guys can school me about interiors and which I have: B4AT, D8AT, B4TT, or D8TT. 2 out of these 4 where never made for the NA market.

Nice car. Put some black trim on it and it will be REALLY nice.

Good luck with your sale!

Thanks!

If black trim will get the car sold, I will buy a full set for the new owner.

Pretty sure you have D8AT because of your model year.
According to this, http://www.bmwmregistry.com/model_faq.php?id=15, it was a regular option. Not individual.

What individual options does your car have? Alot of people are confused as to what individual really means, so don't always believe what you hear.

If he has the last 7 digits of the VIN, http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/ should provide a full build sheet.

SickFinga 03-16-2013 11:37 PM

Definitely not an Individual interior. Like T.Dot_E30 said, it has D8AT interior.
Only one Alpine White with D8AT interior was sold in Canada and four were sold in the US.

petevw, does your VIN end with 565?

Busy day. Didn't get the car out of the garage to take additional pics.

Last 7-digits: EY78565
