Most reliable 7 series

A collegue at work wants to get into a 7 series between the years of 2000 and 2005. I have an E36 and don't know anything about 7 series. What in your opinion is the most reliable 7 series that was built between 2000 and 2005?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

E38, up to 2001. :)

It's also better looking, better to drive and generally...just better.

This...
End of story!
And actually the E32 is even more reliable, i would say one of the most reliable cars BMW ever built, but they are far too outdated.
