Bell unlimited internet plans now available
You can now add unlimited to any bell plan (fibe/ADSL/etc) for 10$.
I think im gonna get the 25/10 + fibetv |
price?
|
you can add unlimited to any account for 10$. the 25/10 plan costs 57$ (plus 10$ if you want unlimited)
|
In yesterday's Toronto Star, Fido is offering unlimited this and that for $60..
who has the best rated plan out there now? Dont you guys find that carrier charges are too expensive in Canada... ? |
Sorry if this wasn't clear. This is for their fibe (VDSL2+) and legacy (ADSL2/2+) residential/buisness DSL plans, NOT mobile internet.
|
thanks. i checked it out since i need to sign up in the next month.
by the way, to get the $10, you need to have a 3 piece bundle. (tv, internet, phone). 2 piece bundle is $30. might do the $30 and go with a normal speed at unlimited. |
TekSavvy people!

i just saw the prices on the bell site again and they have changed. 5/1 is like $40 for the first 6 months or whatever. horrible. |
Yeah, i just checked, you're right, you need to have a bundle.
Scotch, i agree, teksavvy is the way to go, but they dont have IPTV, and my parents are sick of rogers. |
i got teksavvy 28/1 for 47 plus tax a month. cable internet. 300 gig download limit.
its great. download above 3mb a sec all the time. never had a real issue with them. |
^^that's great but a 1mbps upload wont work, so i'd have to go with DSL for teksavvy (25/10, same as bell).
Teksavvy offers free unlimited on their DSL lines from 3am-8am. |
what are the speeds of DSL vs Cable?
|
I'm in Ottawa. It's been rock solid since I got the new modem a few months ago. Before that I had the crappy CellPipe so it would reboot every once in a while. Since the new modem, up time has been 100%. I run servers I monitor it very closely ... and I get a static IP, which you can't get most places without going to a business product.

screw that, teksavvy all the way. i hate the rogers/bell cunts.
and for the mobile plan i still got my iphone and its $35 unlimited talk/text city fido plus i added $8 for caller ID so I pay $45 a month taxes in. now that im almost done with my contract im thinking of going with chatr and save even more $ |
I'll never go DSL, Fibe isn't available in my area and Teksavvy can't provide Cable in Milton yet... so Cogeco it is... Although I'm fine with what I get - 30mbps line 175GB cap, for $45.
