coolant hose and thermostat delete
 

has anyone tried to block off the rear port on the head and the side of the block? then do away with the thermostat and dual hoses on the upper part of the head? looking to run just a single hose from bottom of rad to the pump then hose from the head to the upper rad.
any ideas or anybody try this?

The rear port is the exit for the cylinder head. It used to evenly distribute coolant. It will do no good deleting it.
