FS: E39 16" style 33 + Hakkapeliitta RSi winter package
4 Attachment(s)
Hello:
I no longer have my E39 so I no longer need its winter package. These are genuine BMW style 33 alloys taken off of an early E39 540i back in 2000 and used for my winter package since (these tires purchased in fall 2009). They have been thoroughly washed, polished and waxed seasonally since then. I wouldn't call them concours condition but certainly qualify as "excellent" particularly considering they've been a winter package for over a decade. No road rash, straight, true and road force balanced. Center caps recently replaced. Way nicer than steelies. Looks good with or without sport suspension. Easy to find and relatively inexpensive tire size. Wheels: Genuine BMW style 33s 7Jx16 ET20 fits any E39 except M5 (brake clearance) Originally fitted to 1998 E39 540i Tires: Nokian Hakkapeliitta RSi 225/55 R16 99R XL (factory size for this wheel and chassis) One pair has 8/32nds remaining, the other 10/32nds. purchased Oct 2009 Asking: $800 (I reserve the right to ignore crazy low ball offers) Located in Oakville. Pick up only. Cash only. PM through forum. The bottom four pictures are of the actual package for sale. They were just washed before the pics and still show some moisture. http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/w..._wheel_033.jpg |

Oh the weather outside is frightful.....
For those who may not know, Nokian Hakkapeliitta winter tires are made in Finland. They design and produce some of the best winter tires in the world (especially since Conti bought Gislaved and doesn't seem to have done much with it). These are not cheap off-brand tires. The RSi has been superceded by the R since I purchased this set, but the feature set and design philosophy is about the same. Research the Hakka R: http://www.nokiantires.com/tyre?id=1...akkapeliitta+R A random Internet review of the RSi: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/995246-post1.html |
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that after tonight there may be some more interest in these from west-enders? :D
