2011 m3 cabriolet... price to pay?
Hey guys,

Tried bargaining with a sales rep on Saturday couldn't get the price I wanted. I just wanted to know if my expectations are unrealistic. 2011 fully loaded (other than EDC and BMW Apps) black on black with ~27000km in the GTA.

Listed at 78,900.

They are offering a used set of wheels and winter tires as well (claim that its about a $1800 value).

I'm looking to get the wheels and car for 76k. During negotiations I went up to what I thought was my ceiling at 75k... and he said no and let me walk out of there He got down to about 77k (with the winter wheels). I'm willing to go up to 76k now. Are my expectations too high? or Can I get it even lower?

Intend on going back in there at the end of this week. What do you think?

I suggest going back in there on Wednesday October 31st and seeing what they'll do for you.

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong but most dealers will be trying to hit their sales targets for the month, and if anyone hasn't bought it by next week they should have more room to drop.

^^ That is very true every dealer has a target for the month of delivered and sold cars. I would try back the beginning of next week maybe Monday and see what happens.

is that taxes in? for the used wheels...why complicate matters...get that afterwards on kijiji or something. just focus on the price.

nothing is unreasonable - it's down to how badly they want to sell it. if it's CPO they will ask more for it. i suspect though they will find a buyer for it...and won't drop the price much given all the rich people in GTA. someone will buy it for the price they want.
