I've seen emblems,grills and roofs, but today for the first time I saw a whole car.

Has anyone on here sprayed a entire car?

There is a dealer in my city that has his Audi plasti coated blue looks killer and if your bored of the colour just peal it off!

I kind of get doing some emblems if you want to be able to peel it off after but otherwise...ugh. No reason to cover a clean car it that crap, just another step towards stupidity.

Not too sure what you mean...Painted right on top, no special prep. Still can be taken off at anytime without damage.

Better then any "normal" paint job, but like any black it has to cleaned on regular basis. I use a 2500psi pressure washer on it with no issues at all, as long as you dont put it right next to the surface! Soap or degreaser works well...

better to use an airgun to spray it if you can

I've used it on my old wheels and had the tires unmounted/remounted twice without it coming off (new tire machines are awesome). Strong as hell, but make sure you use a lot of it on application as it needs to be thick for proper removal. If it's too thin, you'll be forever picking it with your fingernails. As an example, I used 1-spray can per wheel. Get it at your local Home Hardware store.

I never thought about this as a rim coat application......this is a great idea for flat black rims

How much does 1 spray can go for?

Sorry i meant was there somethig wrong with your paint thats why you dipped it? Or you just wanted to change it up?

+1. I never thought to do this. My winter rims are looking pretty rough and rather get them refinished or something this could be the perfect idea.

it's around $19 I think.. used to be less around $14-15
