Trading in a Cdn Bimmer in the US?

Has anyone had any experience trading in a Cdn vehicle in the US? Do they bother?

I'll soon be parting with a west coast driven 2004 645CI with 38,500 original km's.

I don’t think this vehicle is admissible for registration in the US.
I know almost all cars from the US can be imported into Canada, but I do not think you can do the opposite.

Check with Google.
