LF: BMW V12 engine (M70)

As described - looking for an engine for a coffee table project, so it doesn't need to run. Really I only need the bottom end.

Not looking to spend a ton of money, so if someone knows where I can get one, let me know!

Thanks

Ya they're very catchy, would be an awesome addition to the garage!

There is a E32 750il at Mike's Auto Parts in Hamilton. The valve covers have been off for a long time so any hope of using the top end is pretty much over, but the block might be good.

Cool thx! I'll look into it. If anyone else has any leads, keep em coming!

Definitely!

However my GF and I are building a house this fall/winter, and she's agreed (provided it's nice and clean and polished) to put it in the living room :)

I had a 4 banger one yrs ago. Cool project though a v12 would be cooler and a bit more useful

Bump!

Still looking for one of these - let me know if you come across anything (even if it's not yours!)

Thanks!

No need to wonder what happened; i reported it. Nothing about "getting hurt" here! Tom runs a good business, and can afford to do his part in this community.

If you want to "help out" and do charity, pay my advertising fees!*wave*

Sorry Shawn.

I don't understand how helping a friend with a part is a problem when I have access to it. I could understand if I was posting for sale ads and whoring the "Looking For" section. This is a single case and I'm out to help a friend, not making sales for Tom.

I'll take your advice on advertising though.

You've got my number, I've got yours - we can do this offline and save the headache if need be.

Plus, I called Eurostyle before posting up this thread, and was told they didn't have anything!

Ah well... politics ;)

That said, if either of you do have something please let me know - the hunt continues :)

Problem solved - I found a motor :)
