help my e30 1988 fuse 21 keeps blowing
 

My fuse 21 no matter what size fuse I put in it keeps blowing im not sure what it could be also my tac and Speedo dont work as well but rest of cluster does I have no clue what could be . I checked my flashlight the bulb didn't work so I took bulb out and put flashlight back on prongs . But it all started to happen when I uninstalled the stock radio and replaced it . ? Any thoughts

you probably have a ground short. pull the deck and check all the wiring to make sure no wires that are bare touching. if it started when you pulled the deck the problem is most likely in the wiring there.

The car starts just fuse 21 and blows Instantly nd no tax or Speedo . I couldn't figure out the old wiring for the stereo so i re wired the speakers and gave its own power . The stereo works to great im stumped . Its almost as content power in car even when no key in Ignition fuse 21 blows. If it's grounds what grounds could it be cuz i caped all old stereo wires . Im stumped and i don't have a manual can't seem to find were to buy a good one.

ground wires son. do it right, and there should be 2 power wires running to the deck harness from the car

whenever i turned on my headlights, the fuse blew and my head unit would shut off...

so yea, quadruple check your ground wires!

Ye but with a test light once I pulled the sterio none wires had power behind it it was so strange but ima open her back up and ground the ground wires I caped from old stereo many that'll work

it will work. use every damn ground wire there is!!!!!!! WOOOOT

Ok soni fixed the fuse21 it was my stupid trunk light quick fix and then took out my cluster and installed a different one only half the lights work on the cluster the half on the Speedo and fuel gage witch both now don't work the Speedo always never worked but now the fuel gage doesn't work but the tac works great . This is straight messed any ideas
