For Sale: Supercharged E36 M3
Well, some of you have seen this car for sale on Maxbimmer before.
I recently bought it, and shortly after, i blew the head on the 328 motor - Car is originally a 328is.
I then decided to go with a M3 (S52) motor that i bought from one of the vendors here. Bimmersport did all the work and did a great job.
I've decided to sell the car as i have my eyes on a RPS13 that i've always wanted.
If it doesn't sell, i'll keep it. No trades & no test drives.
S52 motor with ~140k
Active auto c30 inter cooled supercharger, with water alcohol injection, freshly rebuilt in 2009
Active auto tuned

M3 front and rear bumpers, mirrors, side skirts and mouldings, + m3 lip spoiler

Fenders are rolled so the car comes with 25mm h&r spaces in the back and 15mm in the front

The car is extremely quick, you wont be disappointed.
The not so good:
The deck played once when i bought the car and hasn't played since. It comes on etc.. but no sound.
The valve cover & power steering hose is leaking a bit. I'm waiting for the parts to come in. This will be addressed within a week or two.
The color is pretty much black 95% most of the time, but when there is light on it, it actually has a pearl blue look to it.
I think the colour is something schwartz - cant remember now :)
I need to take some interior pics and engine pics. Will try and do this by this weekend.
Asking price $11,900 obo.

Sounded and looked awesome on the midnight cruise. *th-up*
I don't think you should advertise it as an M3 though, as it doesn't have a WBS VIN number and started life as a 328is. You should certainly mention that somewhere in the ad, otherwise it is misleading.
Thanks man. I edited my post slightly to reflect that.
And is your car orange or red? I dont recall seeing a red E36 during the cruise.
ouch blew the hg so soon after getting it :(
But now she has a better motor so i'm not complaining :)
Wicked car I wanted to buy it but buddy would budge at that point in time. I think you actually paid what I originally offered.
Either way I love it.
How can you list without any test drives.? And it's NOT an M3
why not keep it after doing the swap? how long have you owned the car? does it have any rsm reinforcements? or subframe reinforcements etc.?
As mentioned theres a certain RPS13 that i want nows the time to get it hence the sale of the E36.
There are no subframe reinforcements and it does'nt need any. Im not breaking 400hp so its not required. I've owned the car for about 3 months.
My dads E36 has 150hp and the sub frame tore right out. I'm pretty sure every E36 needs those plates.
Damn...i was advised not to, but if i do land up keeping the car then i'll definitely reinforce the frame
Cant believe you want to sell it and get what you are thinking...
I never thought i'd sell it because i love this thing. But never say never ;)
Just got back from Ertefa and everyone loves how clean the car is
