I'd love to see this up close sometime. I have an Eaton M60 and M90 at home that would be neat to put to use in my E30. Any initial reactions?

The amount of work it takes to do it right is pretty amazing! its a lot of calculating, fiting, welding, parts finding, its hell of a lot of work.

So far my first initial is just driving in my driveway, TORQUE! It feels a lot stronger at low end revs... normal thats the strenght of a Roots type SC.

If you want access to my blog build send me you email I will add you so you can see for yourself.

Right now am just waiting for miller performance to send me a tune for my 30# injectors and I start tuning..cant wait.

Keep in mind this is also just half of the proiect Im going twin charge *uzi*

Awesome.. I loved having the supercharger on my 3.8L in the Riviera.

Now, question I have is does it take a few seconds to "kick on"? On my 3800, there's the boost bypass valve that's normally open in any condition that doesn't require boost (neutral, reverse, cruising speed). This valve takes a second to close and you get the tiniest of lag before you get boost. Did you retain this in your build and if so, does it "lag" when stomped on?

Just gave you access to the blog. No I'm not using the built in bypass....just a blow off valve.. I have the option to plumb it in if boost doesnt release fast enough or my fuel consumption is too much..but for now my short drive (with stock injectors) and no engaging boost expect for tip in maybe 1-2psi there is no lag its instant and I can tell its going to be fun for just a roots sc. with my calculation I should hit 7 PSI or so...

Still waiting on my tune from brody at miller performance should not be long now...I got 30# injectors waiting on my desk to be installed

Sweet mother of god it sounds like a UFO. Love.

*rockout*

I've been keeping tabs on the blog as well. I like how you went with the IC on that side, it keeps the whole set-up on that side of the car.

My question now is when you move to stage 2 are you planning on adding a big FMIC between the turbo and supercharger? My guess would be yes.

You sir are 100% correct.*th-up*I even made the output pipe of the charge point at the right direction to convert to a twin charge setup with big front mount cooler... the blower feeding the turbo.

I'm interested to see how you do the plumbing here for this.

Something like this? (please excuse the crudity of this sketch)

Love the drawing... theres 2 options.. I will use ur drawings to explain.

Option 1 SC feeds turbo

http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/albu...pictureid=1461

Option 2 turbo feeds SC

http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/albu...pictureid=1462

I will check both out to see which is better depends on which turbo I go with...

Yeah when I looked at the picture of your current set-up I envisioned option two because there isn't a ton of room across the front of the car to begin with (without hacking it up pretty good) and having to run that extra length of charge pipe across the front would be a bit of a hassle.

I already check I have options for both. I dont have a clutch fan...my fan is in front of the rad, no power steering, no ac, no booster, no ABS,etc..... its as RAW as it gets...free's up a LOT of room. Car wont be a dedicated DD so why not right...
