I just want to put in a disclaimer. I buy nice things for my self because I like it. I don't do it to get a reaction out of other people. When you become the type of person that buys nice things because you are worried about what other people are going to think, then you've got some serious problems that you need to deal with. It is natural instinct, animals use their colours/strenght to reel in and impress females, in todays day and age, you flaunt your cash/material things. We can't start fighting on the street over a girl.

I know ENOUGH, good looking, very good girls(not gold diggers), who will admit, full on, they care about what car their "hubby" drives and the first opportunity they had/will have, they will get something nice for themselves too.

Ofcourse, there are some who don't care or at least won't admit it (like my wife to be).

I've been asked many times by women why I would buy a 12 year old BMW over a couple old year BMW, because they are "nicer looking" and have cool options. They pretend to understand when I tell them IMO an older performance model is more worthwhile then a 2 year old 323i.

Further to this, you have the "misled" who live with their parents for ever, refuse to buy even a decent car, or any nice clothes so that they can penny pinch their money in the bank, then they wonder why they are 26 yo virgins who've never kissed a girl, even though they "have the money".

pffffft, most girl that would consider that person, would only do it to get shit purchased for them and then bounce.

disclaimer is that there are always the more traditional, or down to earth girls, ofcourse, but Toronto is a hard place to find a girl like that. I ran in the scene for a bit, I know...
