What in the bloody **** are these ****ing morons doing????

Everything has been brine sprayed, derry road, mississauga rd is this shit for real!?!?!?!? they did it around 6pm today on March 25th!!!!!

Roads have been SPOTLESS for the past 3 weeks, and yesterday's rain cleaned em even more, WHAT THE ****!

They most likely did it as a preemptive measure because the temperature is supposed to dip down to around -4 tonight (about -11 with the wind chill).

Not that I agree with it, it think it's a stupid thing to do seeing as it's not calling for any precipitation, but that was most likely their reasoning for doing it.

And again!!!! Nov 23, 10 C EVERY DAY and NO SNOW!! it was even warmer with rain about 14!!! LETS BRINE THE ROADS!!!!! THIS IS A NIGHTMARE.

I just came across this thread today and read that last article on brine salt. I don't know where they get there info from but it is not made from oil. I work for the city of Burlington and make brine in the winter for the roads. It's just a water and salt mixture that's it no oil. Personalty I don't think they should use anything on the roads but there are to many stupid drivers out there, and when they run into a problem the city is the first to get sued.
