Any good canadian sites to buy parts from?
 

Since bringing parts over from the states will cost taxes/custom fees, I was just wondering If there are any good online stores that sells auto parts for cheap?

Personally I like www.fcpgroton.com best... in the US but prices are low and shipping & duty is never high.

bimmian is good also ... they have a shop out in Oshawa where you can even pick the parts up at (depending on what parts you need of course). I've used autopartsway and bimmer specialist before - great to deal with and fast shipping. Bimmer specialist ships out of their Quebec warehouse.

Autopartsway is much faster getting you the parts than bimmerspecialist, but bimmerspecialist has a wider selection of parts and better prices on a lot of parts. Part of the reason for that is they pull a lot of parts from the US (I think they are based out of the US because they use the exact same part search structure as RMEuropean). For that reason shipping is usually longer. The other downside is that there's no free shipping with bimmerspecialist but if you're ordering enough stuff it pays for itself. Example: a piston ring set I need for my engine rebuild is $193 on autopartsway vs $170 on bimmerspecialist. That price difference is almost the cost of shipping alone.

Yeah I don't think its always $30 but its always low because they have this service with UPS called World Ship... everything is built into the price. You sign for it and go.

Therefore FCP is tough to beat.

I always use autopartsway. Fast shipping, good prices, free shipping if over $150 (which is easy to achieve for parts).

So far I've tried bimmerguys.ca, you have to call ahead and I just tried Maranello BMW in Woodbridge for oil and filter. Great prices and if you are a member of this site just ask for the discount. I did buy parts in the US and I found that I can buy them in the GTA for virtually the same money. Keep you $ here
