Am i getting a good deal on this bmw?
 

I was recently looking at 3 series and decided to look for a 5 series because of the reviews about unreliability. The car is a Bmw 528i standard transmission.
Hes selling it for $5000 to me and said has only been in one accident only hit a small tree which only damaged the front bumper and hood a tiny bit. Has owned it for 3 years.
Is 240,000 kms considered alot? and is it worth it for the price?
I plan to go snowboarding this month and last thing I want is it breaking down 4 hours away from home.

There are better cars out there, without a doubt.

Although I am a "noob" according to this website, I've been around the block and my advice is Don't Rush.

What year 528? Any pix for us? Why are you against 3 series so much? I use mine for plenty of boarding trips :D

I thought it was the other way around. Didnt the 3 series E46 engine win awards?

Is the car branded or it has a clean title?

I'm not against it. Its actually what I really want. I think the 3 series look a lot better than the 5 series. I just hear about their unreliability everywhere tho.

Get a good one :) lol people have issues with all cars -- all my e46 issues have been fairly common and easily fix-able. If you get one in good shape with good history you shouldn't have an issue
