E36 Front End Suspension Help

My e36 front suspension is most likely shot.

With the car raised im able to move the front tires around quite a bit. It seems very shaky and loose.

When I drive over bumps my steering wheel rattles sometimes. Very little vibrations in the steering wheel though.

What are the major components I should look into replacing first? I dont feel safe driving around with my car in this condition.

I'm not sure about all the parts in the front end, such as control arms, ball joints etc

Any help is appreciated

Thank you

Sounds like you should take it to a mechanic if you don't even know what's wrong. *th-up*

Or if money isn't an issue. Order new everything. Tierods, control arms, control arm bushings, shocks, shock mounts and wheel bearings.

Thanks,

I will be selling the car soon so I don't want to drop a ton of money into it.

Which parts do you think are most crucial (for safety reasons)?

How costly will this get?

Well there is no point replacing parts that aren't worn out. Take the car to a mechanic and find out what is actually worn out.

All suspension parts are crucial. Otherwise they wouldn't be there.
