Best place to get Bilstien Sports?

And by best of course i mean, cheapest lol. Gonna be looking to buy a set of billys for my 32?i, and wondering where you guys would recommend ordering from based on previous experience..

Or maybe if somebodys got a set that are in good condition that they are looking to part with for a reasonable price, you can PM or reply with info.. I know Rob (El Gato) had a set of minty ones in his car back when he was selling it  let me know if you're selling them still dude..

thanks guys

You'll have to wait a couple weeks because I think for now he's convinced that he's going to fix his car. But in a couple weeks he'll probably start another for sale/part out thread... but then change his mind when no one wants to pay him what he wants and the car will just end up sitting in his driveway all summer again.

lol j/k Rob :D

i want to join in the hunt for bilsteins...if anyone has any for a 97 e39

El Gato Liso 02-08-2012 04:08 PM

essex was great. 5$ fedex ground shipping per shock. I had it at my house like 3 days after i ordered it from BC! do the servay and you get 10% off!

they're more than mint. practically brand new still...i dont think i have more than 1k KMs on it since i installed them...billy sports are ****in insane!

fighting words, Steve. FIGHTING WORDS. lolololol you actually nailed it on the head...right now im stuck on keeping it :)

MaxBell 02-08-2012 07:56 PM

Also: I have some stock ones for $200.

egye30 02-09-2012 02:56 PM

If I order them from turner, will I have to pay customs?? they came up to $489 with shipping on there :o but if i gotta pay customs it'll come up to the same almost..

karmatose 02-09-2012 03:08 PM

You'll have to pay duty for sure. Duty on the shocks will be 6% on the total purchase price + brokerage fees if ordering out of the USA.

frankie591 02-09-2012 04:31 PM

If you are worried about import duties and brokerage, bimmerspecialist.ca sells them and ships from Vancouver. I think ecs tuning also has an option when you select your shipping for a all in rate which includes all brokerage and duties in the shipping price

Chefskinny 02-12-2012 06:48 PM

dude get them from essex if your going too. They also have free shipping right now. Your going to get dinged for about $50 in brokerage + whatever taxes and duty they add. It won't be cheaper.

They also had amazing pricing on Hawk Pads.

El Gato Liso 02-12-2012 09:07 PM

^^^ they're domestic...20$ shipping to your door thats it. no bull shit

Chefskinny 02-12-2012 09:25 PM

It's actually free shipping right now! Not even $20

karmatose 02-12-2012 10:07 PM

Still cheaper to order out of the USA if you do your own brokerage. No tax and only 6% duty on suspension components.
