Park position indicator stays on
 

Hi Guys/Gals,

Got a simple, maybe even dumb, question to ask. I noticed that the 'Park Position' indicator on the shift plate remains lit up (in orange) when the truck's ignition is off (2005 4.4). Noticed it last night when I went into the garage for something and it was still on this morning. Is this normal?

Also, my parking sensor doesn't seem to be functioning. It flashes and produces a long beeping sound when i start it up. The manual says this is a sign of a malfunction. Any similar experiences out there and what was the fix?

No it should go off after 28 min do u have something plugged in cigertte lighter or affermarket stuff??
